What is the mountain house effect?
In summer, the altitude and the building materials determine very low internal surface temperatures (20-24°C) that allow the body to radiate much more than what happens in the plain in buildings equipped with air conditioning. In fact, air conditioning does not cool the masses but only the air and the body radiates very little.
With the MESSANA RADIUS system it will be like being in the mountains.
FLOOR SYSTEM? WATER PASSED
When we talk about radiant panels, but we don’t have a clear scientific and parametric knowledge of what radiation is, we still mostly tend to think of an underfloor system. This type of technology began to spread in Italy around the 1980s, initially poorly received by plumbers but increasingly accepted until they themselves became its promoters.
Today a new technological leap is underway with the transition to ceiling systems as opposed to floor systems and once again the need to overcome the beliefs that have taken root in the meantime and become installation habits arises. These habits are accompanied by a series of clichés such as:
- the heat goes up
- warms the head (remember that in the past the underfloor system was said to swell the feet!)
- the ceiling must first heat the air and takes a long time
- etc.
Obviously all this is not true but they are convenient and reassuring arguments when you are afraid to follow the paths of progress.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM HEIGHT?
According to the Ministerial Decree of 06/26/2015, in the case of installation of the radiant ceiling, the minimum heights can be derogated up to 10cm. Find out more:
