Who is Roberto Messana
Roberto Messana is the one who created from nothing the application of radiant summer air conditioning, first on the floor and then on the ceiling. Having built, thanks also to the huge amount of measurements made (video of the measurements), the scientific and technical bases of the application, overcoming all the obstacles that inevitably had to face in the initial phase, created a market that was not there and with it a large array of competitors who then rode the wave trying to copy his innovative ideas.
Roberto Messana has studied the energy relationship between the human body and the building in which he is staying to understand what was the best plant solution to ensure maximum efficiency of the electrochemical energy used for cooling the building. Studies of fundamental physics, classical physics and physiology have been added to the traditional ones of thermal engineering and architecture in order to develop knowledge and technological solutions that are increasingly evolved and at the same time inspired by the teachings of nature.

- The correct influence of radiant temperature in the calculation of thermal loads. Review of Carrier method.
- Definition of the thermal comfort diagram that takes into account the exchange proportions, not present in Fanger equations and not considered in the PMV and PPD comfort indexes (ISO 7730). The new diagram was presented for the first time at the 58th Annual Congress of the ATI (Italian Thermotechnical Association) on 9-12 September 2003 in San Martino di Castrozza (TN).
