About Us
MESSANA ITALIA srls was founded by Roberto Messana, the acknowledged father of modern radiant system for heating and cooling, and its scientific and technological foundations.

Air conditioning was born for paper, to solve a humidity problem in a Brooklyn print shop in the early 1900s.
It was later adapted to improve thermal comfort in rooms and spread all over the world
...but man is not made of paper.
Roberto Messana, architect-urbanist, has studied the human being in order to develop the right technologies for his body, the most suitable for his thermophysiology, and this is how he realised that our skin is primarily made to radiate.
Studies in physics, physiology, architecture and thermo-technics were at the basis of that technological evolution, which then set the standard, and which sees in radiant surfaces, especially on the ceiling, the starting point to build the right technologies (radiant activators, control logics and dehumidification technologies, calculation and sizing methods) that can provide the human body with the thermal comfort that respects its thermophysiology and with it its health and quality of life.
Today, these studies and research represent the main assets of Messana, which thus offers its customers the most advanced products and services to enjoy…
