DURAN MB 4T
4-PIPE MONOBLOCK HEAT PUMP
The 4-pipe units can simultaneously manage a high and low temperature circuit. The regulation of the rotation speed of the compressor, fan and circulators is controlled minute by minute by the control unit.
The DURAN units are characterized by high efficiency and integrated management of the circulator, which allows the production of high temperature water through the use of an exchanger dedicated to the production of DHW.

SUMMER OPERATION
1. Chiller mode
The unit provides only the production of chilled water for the system.
2. Chiller mode with simultaneous production of sanitary water
The unit simultaneously produces chilled water for the system and domestic hot water.
The power recovered for the production of sanitary water is total.
3. Heat pump mode for the production of domestic hot water
In the absence of a cold load and upon request of the domestic hot water operation probe, the unit provides for the
heating of the water inside the storage tank for the sanitary hot water, using the finned pack battery as an evaporator. The use of external hot air as a heat source guarantees the
obtainment of extremely high COPs.
The transition from one mode to the other occurs completely automatically according to a priority logic
in the production of sanitary hot water and, when there are simultaneous loads, recovering the
condensation energy for the production of domestic hot water.
WINTER OPERATION
- Heat pump mode for heating
The unit produces hot water to the exchanger on the system side for heating.
2. Heat pump mode for the production of domestic hot water
High temperature hot water is produced to the exchanger connected to the domestic hot water storage tank.
3. Heat pump mode with simultaneous production of domestic hot water
DHW is produced at the same time as the production of hot water for the system by exploiting the desuperheating of the gas while maintaining high COPs.
The transition from one mode to the other occurs completely automatically according to a priority logic in the production of domestic hot water.
